Never Giving Up

I was predominantly looking for a good macro shot all day. When I was almost convinced about my bad luck, my eyes fell on this lonely piece of insect struck leaf just around a bend. To me, it was very much worth it.

This is one of my early works... I wanted it to look sad. I don't think it is very good in modeling, texturing or lighting, but what it does is: it gives you a sense of emptiness. Thats what I like about it.
